Scotty McCreery Sings Shortened Version of ‘The Trouble With Girls’ on ‘Regis and Kelly’
'American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery continues his media blitz to promote the just released 'Clear as Day' album. This morning, he sang his new single, 'The Trouble With Girls,' on 'Live! With Regis and Kelly,' although McCreery loyalists likely weren't satisfied.
Wearing blue jeans and an olive green button down shirt, McCreery sang the song as true as he's done on previous television shows. However, the second verse was noticeably missing. Often television shows ask performers to shorten their segment if the show is running long. Kudos to the always humble 17-year-old for not shouting, "Do you know who I am?"
It's going to be a busy month for McCreery. This weekend, he celebrates his 18th birthday with a hometown show in Raleigh, N.C. Fans are clamoring for tickets to the show, which is also serving as a CD release party. His actual birthday is on Sunday, and he's no doubt thankful to be able to wake up in his own bed.
