'From This Moment On,' the upcoming autobiography from country megastar Shania Twain, will be in stores on May 3 and can be pre-ordered here. To support the new book, Twain will set out on a book signing tour that will start on May 4 in New York and bring her to through to the Mall of America in Minneapolis on June 4.

In her tell-all book, Twain will talk about everything from her career to being a mom, and from her public divorce to her new marriage. Her detailed autobiography offers insights into her life that the previously private singer has never talked about.

Twain's expectation is that her story will inspire and give hope to everyone that reads it. Though she's successful now, she and her four siblings grew up poor and domestic violence was part of their life. She rarely had enough food for a school lunch, and she lived for a time on mustard and mayonnaise sandwiches. When her mom and step-dad were killed in a car accident, Twain became the head of the family, parenting her two younger brothers, younger sister and one older sister -- and yet she overcame all those life obstacles.
