Shania Twain is heading home to Canada, where she'll her first non-Vegas show in a decade.

The singer made the announcement on Thursday (Jan. 16) via a video she tweeted. Because Twain is all about elaborate, she filmed her short clip from a snowy mountaintop in the beautiful country of Switzerland. While she didn't travel internationally just to make the announcement, it was cool of her to make the surprise extra special.

Twain will perform at the 2014 Calgary Stampede on July 9 -- and she sounds pretty excited about being on her own stomping grounds once again. "I'm coming home sweet home soon!" she said from the mountain, bundled up in a warm jacket and snowpants. "I'm looking forward to seeing you all at the Calgary Stampede."

Fans may get a chance to hear some of her new material too, since she's been working on an upcoming and very personal record.

"She is beloved by so many," Adam Oppenheim, managing director of Stampede Concerts Inc., tells the Calgary Herald. "And we couldn't be happier that the Stampede fans and visitors will be able to see her first concert outside of Vegas in more than 10 years."

Tickets for Calgary Stampede go on sale Jan. 24, 2014.
