The rumor mill is abuzz with talk of Shania Twain, including several sources claiming the Canadian songstress may be headed for 'Dancing With the Stars.'

In a recent Facebook chat, Twain addressed the chatter. "I'd consider it!" she says, although she has yet to confirm anything with the show.

Season 19 of 'Dancing With the Stars' kicks off on Sept. 15, and according to one report, it's a strong possibility Twain will twirl her way onto the dance floor. "Those at DWTS are very confident that Shania Twain will join the show in its next season," the source tells Hollywood Life. "She is very, very, very close to signing on the show."

Even if Twain doesn't appear on the dancing competition series, she admits she's ready to get back in the spotlight. The 'Any Man of Mine' hitmaker has been headlining her own show in Las Vegas for two years, but her final show is set for later this month.

“I think I’m going to do more,” she spills. “I guess it’s just something I’m enjoying more now than I have in a long time. Vegas has been a really good transition for me to get back onstage again, and I guess I’m enjoying it."

Twain is also ready to release some new music, as she hasn't put out album since 2002's 'Up!'.

“It’s my priority this year and I will be in the studio as soon as I can get in, get my ducks in a row -- I’m working on it all the time right now," the country icon reveals. "I’ve been writing for it for a long time now, I’ve got lots of things so it’s really about putting the puzzle together now."

In any case, look for Twain to pull a 'Garth Brooks' and make a comeback sooner rather than later.
