Country star Shania Twain continues to mount her comeback. She will be the recipient of the 2,442nd star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, which is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Tinsel Town and certainly signifies that a celebrity has "made it!"

The Toronto Sun reports that the singer, an Ontario native, will unveil her star in front of the W Hotel in Hollywood next week. With 1997's 'Come On Over' being the biggest selling album by a female musician of all time, regardless of genre, as well as being the No. 1 selling country album ever, Twain has certainly worked hard to earn her star on the Walk of Fame.

Twain will receive a celebratory assist from actress Bo Derek, who will also be on hand for Twain's big day.

The Walk of Fame star is just another way to cap off Twain's "comeback" trail, as her new reality series/docudrama 'Why Not? With Shania Twain' is enjoying healthy ratings when it airs on Sunday nights at 10PM ET on the newly launched OWN. Each week, viewers and fans accompany Twain on her public journey to healing both her heart and her voice.
