Six Country Hits Become One Epic Song in Awesome Mashup [Listen]

Subscribe to Taste of Country on

Mashing up two songs is hard enough, but six? One YouTuber was up to the challenge.

‘Sir Mashalot’ took six country hits — ‘Sure Be Cool if You Did’ by Blake Shelton, ‘Drunk on You’ by Luke Bryan, ‘Chillin’ It’ by Cole Swindell, ‘Close Your Eyes’ by Parmalee, ‘This Is How We Roll’ by Florida Georgia Line and ‘Ready, Set, Roll’ by Chase Rice — and combined them into one mega-song.

The songs all have similar chord progressions and tempos, so the producer set out to prove they were “separated at birth.” Layering one song over another, piecing together choruses and verses, Mr. Mashalot did just that.

The result? One epic mashup. What the songs lack in diversity they make up for in infectious melodies and catchy hooks, and country fans know there’s nothing wrong with that. We just wish you could buy this on iTunes!
