After several horrific renditions of Josh Turner's 'Your Man' on tonight's 'American Idol,' we weren't expecting much from the hopefuls down in Houston, Texas. But then there was Skylar Laine, who blew us -- and the judges -- away with her golden ticket, Pistol Annies' 'Hell on Heels.'

Laine came all the way from the small town of Brandon, Miss. to show off her skills in front of Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, and boy was it worth the gas money. As she made her way into the Annies' hit, she seemed at ease, hitting all of the notes as if she were the fourth member of the all-girl group.

The young contestant shared that her goal is to make it far enough on 'Idol' to help out her family, who run a small and struggling county store in their hometown. Before giving an answer on whether or not Laine got the green light, judge Lopez said simply, "Well, we know who she is, and that's what I love about her." All three judges handed out yeses without hesitation.
