Steel Magnolia’s Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones Fell Asleep While Shooting Romantic Scenes in Video

Steel Magnolia, featuring real-life couple Meghan Linsey and Joshua Scott Jones, steam up the screen in their video for 'Just By Being You (Halo and Wings).' While the video has sensual moments, filming these scenes are actually rote and non-romantic for the duo, thanks to things like camera operators and lack of privacy.

In a chat with WYCD, Linsey said, "It's different, like we had never done a bed scene before, and we did one on the second video, where we wake up together. I was in bed and Josh fell asleep while we were shooting. Yes, he snores a little. I was in this nightie thing and got up and I realized there were 20 camera guys all around. Thought I should put on a robe or something."

Most bands find video shoots to be unpleasant, given the fact that scenes need to be shot and re-shot and then re-shot again, with the musicians having to play the same parts in repeated takes. It's taxing and can get a little boring, but Linsey takes it all in stride. She is, after all, a pro! "We have a lot of chemistry together and we actually do sing when we are doing our videos so it doesn't look like we are trying to lip sync," Linsey said.
