Steve Holy scored his first No. 1 with 'Good Morning Beautiful,' which reached the top spot in February of 2002 after a long, slow climb. Produced by Wilbur Rimes (LeAnn Rimes' father), the song originally appeared in the film 'Angel Eyes,' and when it started becoming popular, Holy's debut album 'Blue Moon' was re-issued with the tune added.

The track is highlighted by a smooth vocal delivery, and captures its spot in the Top 100 Country Love Songs with its clever lyric, which uses the device of a man addressing his waking lover: "Good morning beautiful, how was your night / Mine was wonderful with you by my side / And I open my eyes and see your sweet face/It's a good morning, beautiful day."
