Talk about a clash of the Titans. Steven Tyler triumphed over Chris Young with his debut country solo single, "Love Is Your Name," but now he's facing a challenge from Luke Bryan's newly-released single.

"Love Is Your Name" is a little bit of a surprise move from Tyler — not so much that he's released a country song, since we were warned well in advance that was happening, but that he chose to record and release a song that cuts against the commercial grain of country radio, with a sprightly acoustic arrangement that is more of a singer-songwriter approach than anticipated.

Bryan's "Kick the Dust Up," on the other hand, is an unapologetic slice of exactly what fans might have expected from the arena-country king: a party anthem that touches on all of the familiar hallmarks of booze, trucks, a party in a field and a couple looking for more privacy. It's the first taste of his forthcoming new album, and as such is one of the most anticipated songs of the year. But will that be enough to compete with Tyler's legions of fans?

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
