Sugarland to Headline ACM Fan Jam

Sugarland will headline the first-ever ACM Fan Jam, a fans-only live show in Las Vegas that goes on the same time the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards are being broadcast.

The ACM Awards are on Sunday, April 3 at 8PM ET on CBS, and since the show always sells out right away, this year producers are giving fans quite a treat: an all-night party where Sugarland is the main event. Other musical acts will be announced at a later date.

On the band's website, they reveal that not only will live performances by upcoming country singers be part of the night, but there will be prizes and giveaways for those in attendance as well, like autographed guitars, trip packages to country music events and more. The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino will host the Fan Jam, and fans attending will be part of a live ACM telecast.

“We sell out our Awards show tickets within minutes of going on sale, every year, but with Sugarland’s help, the Academy is answering the demand of more and better access to the Awards show with the Fan Jam, with a family-friendly ticket price and a promise that this experience will be like no other in ACM Awards history," Bob Romeo, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, says.

Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles adds, “I am wound up about the ACM Fan Jam. It’s going to be like hosting our own ACM party for the fans. They’ll get to see the show and have their own private show in the same evening! It’s like having your biscuit and eating it too, all in one big jar of Fan Jam!”

The ticket pre-sale for ACM A-Listers will be on Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 8–10AM PT at Ticketmaster with tickets between $35 and $55. The A-List pre-sale code is SPADE. After 10AM, tickets will be made available to the general public. Sugarland has also secured a limited number of hotel rooms at Mandalay Bay; to reserve a room, call 877-632-7000 and mention the special code EACMAC.

Don’t forget: There will also be a Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country taping on Monday, April 4 featuring an A-list cast in tribute performances to country music’s most amazing female performers.
