Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are set to launch a Sugarland radio station! But with only four albums, one would think the duo would very quickly run out of songs to play in rotation. Rest assured -- Nettles and Bush will run music from their favorite artists in addition to their own hits.

"I'm so excited to give fans this look behind the curtain at Sugarland and show what makes Kristian and me tick," Nettles says. "People may be surprised about some of our musical influences, and we've got some great stories to share."

Some of those influences include artists like Band of Horses, the Cure, Arcade Fire, Coldplay, R.E.M., Emmylou Harris, and Steve Earle, among others, all of which will be featured on the new station.

In addition to playing songs, Nettles and Bush themselves will share behind-the-scenes stories of their songwriting, passion for music and tours.

The duo is excited for their latest venture, but above all else, Bush says that he hopes the band's connection to their own music will help them unite with music fans of all shapes and sizes. "We are really lucky," he says. "Country music is often built in such a way that separates singers from the song. We don't do that. We write all our own songs and we write about things we know. In that way, we find a connection with the people around us."

The official Sugarland radio station, brought to you by A.P.E. Radio, can be tuned in to here.
