Sugarland Partner With Matt Nathanson for ‘Run’ at 2011 CMA Awards

Sugarland teamed with Matt Nathanson to perform the song ‘Run’ at the 2011 CMA Awards. The teaming is ideal when you consider that the song was written by Nathanson and Sugarland.

Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, dressed in form-fitting gold pants, heels and a leather jacket, sang the duet with the jeans and casual shirt clad Nathanson while Kristian Bush accompanied them on guitar.

The song is featured on Nathanson’s latest album, ‘Modern Love,’ which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart.

Sugarland competed at the 2011 CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year against the Civil Wars, Montgomery Gentry, Steel Magnolia and Thompson Square.
