Sunny Sweeney is living the good life right now. Besides the release of her sophomore album, 'Concrete,' last week, the singer from Texas is criss-crossing America opening shows for Brad Paisley on his H2O II: Wetter and Wilder Tour. The tour also features the likes of Blake Shelton and Jerrod Niemann, all of whom Sweeney has bonded with over the past several weeks.

"[Blake] is a nut ... an absolute nut!" Sweeney tells Taste of Country with laughter.  "I only see him at the end of the night when we all go out onstage with Brad. He's just funny and very normal. I like funny people, and I like being around funny people ... people that can just be silly and not really care. I think that basically I want to be on tour with Brad and Blake and Jerrod for the rest of my life [laughs]!"

Between H2O dates, Sweeney has been also opening a handful of shows for Darius Rucker, as well as Lady Antebellum. For each superstar she shares the stage with, Sweeney is absorbing their secrets to a long and successful career, especially Paisley.

"Brad is so awesome with his fans," says Sweeney. "I just think he's very inspirational musically. He connects with his fans, that's what I think is cool. And he's normal, too. He's one of the biggest stars in country music, and he's the most normal guy."

Paisley is also known for the out-there pranks that he throws upon his openers, but fear not. Sweeney says that she is prepared if it comes to that. "I have [a prank] planned to retaliate if he does decide to go there," she says with a grin.

And what if he doesn't "go there"? Will Sweeney pull it out at the end of the tour anyway? "You know me ... so probably [laughs]!"
