As each week of competition on 'The Voice' has passed, it seems like country coach Blake Shelton and his last remaining contestant, Jermaine Paul, have grown closer. On Monday, the competition started to wind down, but Paul and Shelton weren't ready to throw in the towel just yet. The two put on a powerful rendition of 'Soul Man,' complete with backup singers and Paul's lead vocals, which put the other hopefuls to shame. The performance was so spot-on that country's biggest stars came out of the woodwork to advocate for Team Blake, despite the fact that Paul isn't even a country artist.
