Charlie Daniels is using his signature voice for something other than singing this holiday season. He has released an audio recording of the classic Christmas poem, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas,' to bring holiday cheer to his fans.

A pacemaker won't slow Charlie Daniels down. The Charlie Daniels Band frontman says his fiddling or movements on stage won't be compromised with the device implanted in his chest. He underwent the procedure last month after being hospitalized with pneumonia. He returns to the stage Friday night (April 12) in Verona, N.Y.

The last hour of voting during the finals of March Bandness was frenzied, to say the least. Thousands of fans of Alabama and the Charlie Daniels Band cast a ballot in the waning minutes.
