Eli Young Band

Eli Young Band have worked their way up to becoming one of country music's most respected bands over the course of a long, slow climb. The band formed initially as a duo comprising Mike Eli and James Young, who met at the University of North Texas. They became a band with the addition of Chris Thompson and Jon Jones, and released their self-titled debut album in 2002. The group released 'Level' in 2005 and began building a large touring base, but they didn't really get their biggest national break until 2011, when 'Life at Best' took off on the strength of "Crazy Girl," their first No. 1 hit. They followed up with another No. 1 single, "Even if It Breaks Your Heart," which was nominated for ACM and Grammy awards. They followed up that breakthrough with "Drunk Last Night," another No. 1 from their 2013 album, '10,000 Towns,' which also spawned the hit single, "Dust." Most recently, EYB released a new EP titled 'Turn It On,' featuring the title track as its first single.
