First we surfed the web, and then we blogged, and now we're writing messages on walls, friending each other on Facebook and tweeting about the latest news. Lady Antebellum just got in on the latest internet phenom: Pinterest, a website where members can "pin" their favorite things to "boards" so their friends can keep up with everything from DIY projects to new recipes, decorating ideas and fashion muses.

Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley -- better known around Nashville as Lady Antebellum -- better make some more room on the walls for even more plaques acknowledging their career achievements. The trio's last two singles, 'Just a Kiss' and 'We Owned the Night,' from their third studio album, 'Own the Night,' have now been certified double platinum and gold, respectively.

This week, the CMA announced more artists who have signed on to perform as part of the 2012 CMA Music Festival held in Nashville in June. Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Brad Paisley, and Rascal Flatts will all be part of the all-star lineup set to perform during the nightly concerts at LP Field during the four-day festival. Previously announced performers for the LP Field lineup include Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood and the Band Perry.

Two of country's biggest trios -- Lady Antebellum and the Band Perry -- are listed among nearly 200 names of people that President Obama hopes will endorse his re-election bid. The list of surrogates includes figures from the sports, entertainment and celebrity worlds that the President and his team would like to come aboard to support him publicly.

The 2012 Brit Award nominees have been announced, and country's own Lady Antebellum are up for the International Group award, an accolade bagged last year by indie rock outfit Arcade Fire. Lady Antebellum's lovely, talented and kind-hearted Hillary Scott is doing her part to help others across the world. The singer is working in tandem with a family from Franklin, Tenn. to open a modernized orphanage in Haiti. This is a different, special and revolutionary type of orphanage, as it will be fashioned like a home that serves approximately eight children and will be headed by a mother and father. The aim is to recreate the family model for the children.
