Lee Brice

Lee Brice has parlayed his stellar songwriting into a career as an artist. He first began making his mark in Nashville in 2007, co-writing Garth Brooks' "More Than a Memory," which was the first single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart to debut at No. 1. Brice went on to write songs for Jason Aldean, Eli Young Band and Tim McGraw, among others, which led to signing a deal of his own. His 2010 debut album, 'Love Like Crazy,' scored a hit with its title song, which revealed Brice's ability to imbue other people's songs with the same emotional intensity as his own material. That was also evident in the success of "I Drive Your Truck," which took Song of the Year honors at both the ACM and CMA Awards. Brice's expressive voice, coupled with his ability to write and find unusually compelling songs like his 2014 hit, "I Don't Dance," have placed him at the forefront of the younger generation of country artists.

Lee Brice songs have a way of digging deep and tugging at the heartstrings, which may at first be surprising based on his appearance alone. But fans know that Brice's brawny exterior is simply an outer shell, and underneath lies an sentimental singer-songwriter with a penchant for sweeping women off their feet.

If there's one thing that Lee Brice won't tolerate, it's lies. After a fan falsely accused the 'I Don't Dance' hitmaker of drinking too much before taking the stage at a recent show, he responded angrily, later speaking out about how slanderous accusations such as that really "burn him up."
