And while she can't go to every high school prom or give every devoted fan an autograph, the 'Safe and Sound' hitmaker does what she can to give back to her superfans. That's why she responded to a Marine's request to contact the family of fallen soldier Sergeant Wade Wilson.

Congratulations are in order for Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Blake Shelton. All three country acts have been nominated for 2012 Teen Choice Awards outside of their genre. Swift was nominated in the Choice Female Artist category, where she is up against pop divas like Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Lady A received a nod in the Choice Music Group category, where they will do battle with the likes of LMFAO and the Wanted, among others.

On Sunday night, Taylor Swift was officially crowned with one of the most prestigious nods given at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards: Woman of the Year. Following a strong introduction by Kris Kristofferson -- who called her "one of the most successful artists in country music" -- Swift got a multi-minute reel recapping all of the heights she's reached in her relatively short career.
