Tommy Crain Memorial Scheduled for Friday in Nashville

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 21, for friends and family of longtime Charlie Daniels Band guitarist Tommy Crain who passed away last week at age 59.  The gathering will take place at Nashville's rehearsal hall, Soundcheck. The memorial celebration will begin with a visitation starting at 4PM, followed with testimonials and a musical tribute at 5PM.

Tommy Crain, Longtime Charlie Daniels Band Member, Dies at 59

Tommy Crain, former Charlie Daniels Band guitarist and Grammy Award-winning co-writer of the hit 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia,' died on Thursday, Jan. 13, at age 59. Crain passed away in his Williamson County, Tenn. home, only three days before his 60th birthday.
