Taylor Swift Receives $11K Birthday Gift from Jake Gyllenhaal

Whether we want to admit it or not, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal have gotten serious. Although they've only been dating since October, Taylor has already met his family, and apparently won over his heart -- as the actor presented her with an $11,000 vintage Gretsch guitar for her 21st birthday.

This isn't just any gift; the electric guitar with a hallow body is signed by country singer Chet Atkins, who endorsed thousands of Gretsch guitars during the '50s and '60s. Atkins was one of the contributors to the "Nashville Sound," a smoother style of picking that was even admired outside the Nashville scene. Atkins also produced records for singing moguls Perry Como, Elvis, Everly Brothers, Jim Reeves and Waylon Jennings, among others.

Swift apparently had mentioned her admiration for Gretsch guitars to Gyllenhaal during a recent trip to Nashville, which proves that not only is he charming, but a good listener. This leaves us with only one question: With Jake Gyllenhaal's birthday today (Dec. 19), what will the country songstress get him?
