Details have emerged regarding Taylor Swift's upcoming 2012 CMA Awards performance, which will air live on Thursday, Nov. 1. The singer -- who is in full-on promotion mode for her fourth album 'Red' -- is set to sing the new song 'Begin Again' at the ceremony, according to ABC News.

The CMAs broadcast marks the first time that Swift will perform the song, and it's certainly a wise choice for this particular event. 'Red' finds Swift showing off more of her pop side, but 'Begin Again' is a country ballad and is the sound that is most familiar to her country base. The song is the second single from her new album, which impacted on October 22.

We're certain that Swift will knock it out of the park when she debuts the ballad live. The 46th Annual CMAs are set to air from Nashville on Nov. 1 at 8PM ET on ABC.

Swift is up for several CMA Awards that night, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year (a category in which she is the reigning champ and is this year's sole female nominee) and Music Event of the Year for 'Safe and Sound,' her 'Hunger Games' duet with the Civil Wars. Tune in to see Swift premiere 'Begin Again' live and to hopefully make her adorable (and now signature) shocked and surprised face if she wins any awards!
