Jake Gyllenhaal Broke Up With Taylor Swift Via Phone – Gossip Report

After two months of dating, which included coffee dates in Brooklyn and dinner get-togethers in London, Taylor Swift, 21, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 30, are no longer an item. But before you attempt to predict the lyrics to her song about him and their relationship, know this: Gyllenhaal reportedly broke Taylor Swift's poor heart over the phone, according to sources in the upcoming issue of Us Weekly.

"Taylor is really upset and hurt," a source reports to Us Weekly. "She doesn't know what she did for him to just put a stop to it. She feels really burned by him."

And this wouldn't be the first time a relationship ended over the phone -- Joe Jonas did the same thing to her back in 2008, resulting in the single 'Forever and Always.' Let's just hope the conversation with Jake was longer than 27 seconds.

Swift's change in behavior was said to first be apparent during the People’s Choice Awards, where Swift was awarded Favorite Country Artist. “She was not her usual bubbly, overanimated self,”an Us Weekly eyewitness reports. Swift succumbed to pal Selena Gomez for support at the awards, apparently telling her, "It’s so good to see you. I need a friend tonight.”

We're sure Swift will get over this quick, though, as she's been busy promoting her extremely successful and record-breaking 'Speak Now,' and working with CoverGirl as the newest face for their NatureLuxe and Lip Perfection product collections.
