Country fans may be missing Taylor Swift’s more twang-laden tunes now that she’s shifted over into the pop world, but with the help of YouTube stars the Gregory Brothers, they can hear what it would sound like if she stuck to her roots.

The group — three brothers, and one honorary “brother” by marriage — produces videos on YouTube of all sorts, but this time took Swift’s pop track “Out of the Woods” and gave it a bluegrass flair. The result? Well, let’s just say we wouldn’t be mad if Swift took this direction on her next record.

The band put a double-time beat behind the mandolin, acoustic guitar, snare drum and upright bass, blending harmonies seamlessly to create a catchy country cover. They even dressed the part, complete with overalls, plaid and a jug band-style string on a stick for the makeshift bass.

Though this video was released in 2014 just after 1989’s debut, the album is still making waves more than six months later, with the new “Bad Blood” remix topping summer playlists everywhere. Swift is on her 1989 World Tour, during which she has been inviting artist after artist on stage to perform their own hits with her, including country’s own Sam Hunt with his song “Take Your Time.” When she’s not making nice with Kanye West or single-handedly changing Apple’s streaming policy, she’s hanging out with her famous crew, including beau Calvin Harris. The duo was named the highest-earning celebrity couple by Forbes this year.
