Taylor Swift Returns to Her Roots, Talks to Sheep, Makes Us LOL [Watch]

You can take the girl out of the country, but you can never take the country out of the girl. A new video posted by Taylor Swift to Instagram proves that even as a pop star, she's not straying far from her roots.

The "Style" hitmaker ventured away from big city living in the Big Apple recently to visit a farm and play with the sheep. But she learned the hard way that the animals can be pretty tough to reason with.

"Important lessons from today: 1. Sheep are impossible to reason with. 2. Sheep are rude," Swift writes in the caption which accompanies the video. In the entirely-too-cute clip, the singer finds herself having a conversation with the sheep, but they just won't listen!

"Here's the thing, here's the thing, here's the thing. Honestly, honestly when I'm trying to talk and I'm trying to use my hands as like a gesture — these are gestures, not food," she tells the herd.

Instead of listening, the naughty sheep just "baa" back at the singer.

Easygoing and funny as she is, Swift is about to shift her focus from relaxation back to work, as she's getting ready to embark on her 1989 tour. Oh, and she's reportedly dating someone new! The singer has been spotted out with deejay/songwriter/producer Calvin Harris, holding hands and acting more than friendly. Harris even posted an Instagram picture on his own account showing Swift's cats, which has only furthered the dating rumors. Has this farm girl finally found her prince? We hope so.

The worldwide 1989 tour kicks off May 5 in Japan.
