Taylor Swift is half a world away, busy giving Aussies a chance to see her 2013 Red Tour up close and personal. But thanks to modern technology, that doesn't mean she can't impact ‘The Grammy Nominations Concert – Live!!’ at the same time.

The singer beamed in to the Los Angeles-based concert Friday night (Dec. 6), performing a rousing rendition of her hit 'I Knew You Were Trouble.'

Swift essentially killed two birds with one stone, pleasing her screaming Australian fans and those anticipating seeing her face on when 2014 Grammy nominees were announced. She took a few seconds on her below-stage elevator lift to give a shoutout to her home base of the United States.

Swift did everything she does best during her few minutes on air. She strutted. She tossed her hair and did a complete wardrobe swap in the blink of an eye. She sang her heart out and nailed the vocals. And most of all, she made fans scream, dance and cry with excitement.

The superstar co-hosted last year’s Grammy nominations event, which was held in Nashville. She's up for several 2014 Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album.
