The song most often associated with baseball is probably 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' or the National Anthem. However, Taylor Swift's hit 'Love Story' recently became an anthem of sorts within the MLB.

It all started with one line from the MLB Twitter account: "It's a glove story" and it led to a slew of other teams joining in on the song, adding their own baseball twist to the romantic love song.

The Los Angeles Dodgers hopped onboard right away, tweeting, "We were first young when I first saw you," adding a picture of the Brooklyn Dodgers' logo. Relevance? The Brooklyn Dodgers became the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1958. Not to be outdone, the MLB account soon added, "Close my eyes and the flashback starts,' sharing a photo of an old stadium.

The San Francisco Giants added, "See the lights, see the party the ball gowns," with a picture of their mascot and a woman in a ball gown of sorts, and the fun continued, all the way through "Begging you, 'Please, don't go...'"

Some of our favorite tweets included a play on words, when the Texas Rangers wittingly shared, "I'll be the prince and you'll be the princess" and included a picture of baseball player Prince Fielder. See more of our favorites below. You can view a full roundup of the tweets here.
