Terri Clark has released her new studio album, 'Classics' -- a collection of 11 tunes from previous generations that have guided the evolution of the country genre.

“I tried really hard to pick a song or two from every decade from the ‘50s to the ‘80s,” says the singer of deciding which songs to include. “This is the type of project I’ve wanted to do my whole life and it represents so many things for me."

She adds, "My family roots, the Opry, my influences, and many of the songs that make up the fabric of country music.”

The Canadian-born superstar has enlisted some of the country community's heavy hitters for the new project. 'Classics' features collaborations with Reba McEntire and Dierks Bentley, as well as guest appearances by Canadian fan-favorites Dean Brody and Jann Arden.

Tanya Tucker is also credited as a guest performer on the album, appearing as a featured vocalist on Clark's version of the country legend's 1972 signature tune, 'Delta Dawn.'

“The guests on the album are people who’ve influenced me or people I’m a fan of," Clark admits.

'Classics' is now available in the United States on Amazon and iTunes, as well as Clark's official artist website. The 'Girls Lie Too' hitmaker will promote the release with a string of Canadian dates beginning on March 8.
