The Billboard Music Awards just got a little more country. Superstar sibling trio the Band Perry and fast-rising star Kacey Musgraves have been added to the roster of performers for the show, which airs on May 19.

They join pop acts including Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Selena Gomez, who were also announced for the event. Prince, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Miguel have also been confirmed.

The Band Perry recently performed 'Better Dig Two' on 'Dancing With the Stars.' It was the lead single from their new album 'Pioneer.' Their current single is 'Done.'

Musgraves took the entire music industry by surprise by debuting in the No. 1 position with her first studio album 'Same Trailer, Different Park,' which had already spawned the hit single 'Merry Go 'Round.' Her current single is 'Blowin' Smoke.' She'll spend much of the summer opening for Kenny Chesney.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC on May 19.
