Sorry, the Band Perry fans ... it looks like you're going to have to wait until next year to hear new music from the sibling trio.

Their new project, titled Heart + Beat, was originally scheduled to drop on Nov. 20, but after recent developments it seems that the record won't make its debut until 2016.

“Well we actually had a date chosen, and then we had a very exciting collaboration that just happened,” singer Kimberly Perry tells News4Jax. “So we kind of got this last jolt of creative energy, so we feel like we’re going to push it back a little bit further to early 2016.”

The Band Perry have given us all a preview of what we may expect from their new album with the release of their latest single, "Live Forever." The colorful and electrifying track recently cracked the Top 30 on radio, and is a sample of what the rest of the project contains.

“With this project we’ve had more fun than we’ve ever had in the studio,” Kimberly says. “Everything is so colorful and enthusiastic and happy. We’re walking out of the studio with giant smiles on our faces.”

Although we have no idea who the group's recent collaboration was with, there already have been rumors circulating that the group teamed up with R&B artist Pharrell, a name many wouldn't associate with country music.

The band have not yet announced a new release date for Heart + Beat.
