For the Band Perry, the first, second and third time is a charm. The sibling trio picked up the award for New Artist of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards, following wins for both Song of the Year and Single of the Year.

Just minutes after the Perry family graced the Bridgestone Arena stage to perform their hit ‘All Your Life,’ they were brought back to the podium to collect yet another award. ‘American Idol’ runner-up Lauren Alaina and Jake Owen delivered the New Artist of the Year prize to the Band Perry, who were chosen from a strong group of contenders: Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Thompson Square and Chris Young.

With not much time to speak, Kimberly Perry said simply, “Thank you for this honor,” as her brothers smiled proudly.
