The Band Perry have been busy lately, raking in the gold at award shows, promoting their debut album on 'The View,' and most recently, calling in for an interview with WYRK 106.5's 'The Breakfast Club.' What they're most looking forward to right now, though, is a two-week Christmas break.

"We are going to take two weeks off, and we're going to eat a lot, and we're going to sleep," the band says. "Then, there's this little cabin up in North Carolina [where] we've been writing songs for the past few years, and we're going to go there this year and write some of our thoughts and feelings for the year into a song or melody together and set them to a melody."

The trio is also very excited about the pending release of their new single: "We're really excited to release a new song on the country radio in January called 'You Lie,' and it's splittin' spirit from the Band Perry." They go on to say that the track features one of their favorite lyrical lines: "I never liked the taste of crow, but baby I ate it."

They also sing their favorite Christmas carol and discuss their love of Michael Jackson. But we don't want to give it all away -- it's six fun minutes that you should listen to yourselves.
