The Band Perry took the stage like it was built for them at the 2012 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night. Lead singer Kimberly Perry let her hair down and worked the crowd singing the trio's current single 'Postcard From Paris.' Last year, the group won the Breakthrough Video of the Year belt buckle, but it's clear they're on their way to bigger things in years to come.

Neil, Reid and Kimberly Perry were in top form. Older sister wore black jeans and a lace top, but with a country vest to keep it respectable. Her brothers were also dressed mostly in black, causing one to focus attention on Kimberly's flowing golden hair, which was partially straightened for the night.

Along the way, KP waved to various members of the audience and shouted out standard crowd pumper-uppers like, "Are y'all having a good time?" During previous awards shows, she'd remained stuck to her microphone stand, so it was refreshing to see her move around some. The crowd -- and presumably viewers at home -- seemed to enjoy it.
