Ponytail or No Ponytail? The Band Perry Talk Fashion

Subscribe to Taste of Country on

The Band Perry are one of the best looking groups in country music — always polished, well-styled and, of course, we can’t forget those fabulous manes. The trio stopped by to chat with Taste of Country before the 2014 CMA Awards about their sense of fashion, in addition to new music.

We couldn’t help but point out that sassy sister Kimberly always manages to look flawless, even when just stopping in for an interview.

“I take no credit, because I’d be in sweats if it were left up to me, but apparently people tell us we need to be a little bit dressed up for radio remotes,” she says with a big smile.

It’s not just Kimberly who oozes style, though — brothers Reid and Neil are pretty put together these days, too. While in the Bahamas in September, the group posted a photo of long-haired Reid with his hair pulled back into a man bun, and women have been raving about his ‘do since.

“We vote ponytail, too,” Kimberly says, raising her hand.

“I’ll pull it out more,” Reid says of the style before Neil realizes he’s not being complimented quite as much as his siblings.

“So, what do they say about me?” he asks, smiling and laughing.

When they’re not working on being the most stylish group around, the Band Perry are working on new music. Fans should expect it to come sooner rather than later.

“We’re knee deep in the studio as we speak,” Kimberly explains. “As far as the timelines, you know, we push them as far back as we possibly can so we can keep writing … definitely new music toward the beginning of next year.”

Mark your calendars. And don’t miss the Band Perry when they stop by Colorado’s Country Jam Festival next June — they’re headliners!
