The Band Perry recently released their a new single, "Live Forever," and it bursts with so much energy, you can almost see and feel colors.

The accompanying music video is upbeat and soaking in bursts of yellow, and Kimberly Perry explains why.

"With this project we’ve had more fun than we’ve ever had in the studio," says the singer in a chat with her record label group, Big Machine. "We finally took time off the road to just be able to dedicate to waking up every day and going to sleep every night for about six months just dreaming about the future of our music. And that was a really wonderful thing that we hadn’t given ourselves the luxury to do before. So, it felt really empowered and electrified woke up each day really excited to go into the studio and yellow is a color that exuded that for us in this new era."

"Live Forever" is the lead-off single from an upcoming project that is yet to be announced. But the group did share with Taste of Country that the new record is just as vibrant as the song.

"Everything is so colorful and enthusiastic and happy," the female Perry sibling furthers. "We’re walking out of the studio with giant smiles on our faces."

It seems like the rest of the album will follow suit, and even feature a collaboration with an artist few would associate with country music: Pharrell.
