The Band Perry are gearing up to release their new video for 'You Lie,' which is set to premiere this week. The trio gave a behind-the-scenes peek at the video's shoot, and from the look of things, the 'You Lie' video seems to coincide with the dark nature of the song's lyrics.

In the behind-the-scenes video, which premiered on The Boot, Kimberly Perry is pictured wearing a white lacy dress with black accents. The Perry boys are also dressed in a similar fashion, sporting sleek black suits.

The backstage footage also gives viewers a sneak peek at some of the sets, including a huge dining table that is covered with a bounty of delicious food. However, when the viewers catch a glimpse of the actual camera shot, it shows the Perry siblings sitting at the table with a foreboding, shadowy effect.

This dark camerawork is most likely being used to reflect the stinging lyrics of 'You Lie,' which are about a relationship gone bad thanks to a cheating partner. Some of the lyrics read, "That ain't my perfume / I bet she had a curfew / You told me you were out with the boys and baby I believed you / So why you lookin' so nervous / You know you're gonna deserve this."

The Band Perry's 'You Lie' has been steadily climbing the charts since its release in late January. The Band Perry are also up for a 2011 ACM Award for Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Vocal Duo or Group.
