Who Is Angela Wolff From ‘The Voice’?

A little bit country, a little bit rock 'n' roll. That's the best way to describe 'The Voice' contestant Angela Wolff, a Georgia native who now resides in Nashville. Wolff didn't win over Blake Shelton with her performance of Miranda Lambert's 'The House That Built Me' on 'The Voice,' but she reeled in Adam Levine with her second-chance audition of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep.'

Wolff grew up singing country music in Georgia, before adding rock to her repertoire. "For the most part, I stuck to country music because I understood it so well and related to the emotion behind each artist's voice," explains Wolff in a blog post. "Then, I discovered the White Stripes. Things started getting confusing after that ... but in a very liberating way. I couldn't make my stereo loud enough and constantly searched through rock 'n' roll history."

Currently, Wolff fronts the Atlanta-based rock band Dirty Pollyana. The group released a self-titled EP last year, followed by a full-length album called 'Tell Angela" earlier this year. She says the band gave her its blessing to audition for 'The Voice.' "They are supporting me every step of the way," she wrote. "I just want to make them proud."

Before her initial audition on 'The Voice,' Wolff revealed that she was hoping for Shelton or Levine as her coach. She admits that she was heartbroken when none of the coaches chose her after her performance of 'The House That Built Me,' but she is thrilled to be on Levine's team after he approved of her rendition of 'Rolling in the Deep.'
