Two years and three No.1 singles later, Thomas Rhett has finally announced the details of his upcoming sophomore album.

Tangled Up is set to be released this fall.

“This album is something we’ve been working on for two years and musically, it really pulls from all the things I have been inspired by during that time," Rhett explains in a press release. "The title Tangled Up comes from a lyric in one of the new songs, and I think it's a cool way to point to all the different influences that I have as an artist and a songwriter – from soul and R&B to old school country to rock and everything in between. They are all in this record."

"Crash and Burn" is the lead single off the forthcoming project, and the song is setting the pace for what fans should expect. Taste of Country branded the song a "hybrid of soul and country, with works of traditional instruments throughout the song to center it," which "results in a fresh, new style sure to make an impact at radio."

To include his fans in the buildup of the project, Rhett is enlisting their help in choosing the disc's official cover art. Four designs will be posted on ThomasRhett.com, and the winning cover will be revealed in the coming weeks. Tangled Up is due on shelves on Sept. 25.

Rhett is currently providing support on Florida Georgia Line'Anything Goes tour alongside Frankie Ballard. The tour starts up again in July and lasts through October.
