Taste of Country’s Tim McGraw Flyaway Contest Winner Announced

Shannon Badger almost had a medical emergency when she learned she'd won the Taste of Country flyaway to see Tim McGraw on August 24 in Foxborough, Mass. "When I read the e-mail on my phone, I about passed out," the longtime country fan tells Taste of Country. Now that she has composed herself, it's time to start planning.

The Griffin, Ga. 25-year-old and a friend or family member will enjoy airfare, concert tickets and admission to a private pre-show acoustic concert from the 'Truck Yeah' singer. She'll also get a night of hotel accommodations, plus $500 to spend on merchandise, food, drinks -- whatever she wants!

"I am a big fan of Tim McGraw ever since June 3rd when he laid across the stage on his stomach to be able to reach over and hold my hand," Badger says. She's seen him twice already on the Brothers of the Sun Tour with Kenny Chesney and Jake Owen. The Boston show will be a highlight of the tour for the fan, with McGraw no doubt performing her favorite song 'Live Like You Were Dying.'
