Tim McGraw Loves Football Season, Never Misses a Game

For many, the fall season isn't just about changing leaves and pumpkin patches. Instead, it's about football, and Tim McGraw is one of the biggest fans of America's favorite pastime. 

The country star admits he absolutely loves this time of year -- in fact, he rarely misses a game. "I’m always excited about football season; college, the NFL, high school, all of it," McGraw tells Big Machine Label Group. "I try not to miss many games if I can help it."

Sure, it may seem over the top, but the 'Southern Girl' singer has admitted before that the entire McGraw family is over the top about football, and happily so.

For McGraw and wife Faith Hill, whose 'regular' schedule can involve lots of posh parties, during football season, it's more about football than fancy. "Saturday and Sundays are laying around the house, eating a lot of food and watching football a lot," the star dishes.

There's one special person McGraw likes to share the season with in addition to his wife -- Martina McBride's husband, John. "There’s not one single thing that I’m not excited about like football season," he says. "One good thing is I talk to John McBride all the time. He and I are good friends. We talk about football all the time on the weekend.”

Yep, Tim McGraw is one busy guy, so he definitely deserves time to sit back, relax and enjoy the big game. Or every game, for that matter.
