Samuel Timothy Smith — or Tim McGraw, as we now know him — was born on May 1, 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana. Music has always been in this star's veins, and he began pursuing his dreams of being a country music singer in 1989. Since then, we've watched him age gracefully and chisel himself physically, but at the end of the day, he's still the same ol' guy we know and love.

McGraw joined longtime Curb Records in 1990, but it took a few years to find success, which he did 1994 when Not a Moment Too Soon was released. The album included his first big hits, "Don't Take the Girl" and "Down on the Farm." Two years later, McGraw made the smart decision to marry Faith Hill, and in addition to having babies, they began to reign as country music's finest couple. Now on Big Machine Label Group's roster, it can be argued that this modern Tim McGraw is the best ever. Three beautiful daughters, an equally talented wife and stardom most singers can only dream of? Yeah, we'd say this Louisiana boy is doin' alright. Catch him at the Taste of Country Music Festival and Country Jam this summer!
