Country superstar, actor and diehard football fan… that's Tim McGraw. The 'One of Those Nights' singer will be on the West Coast when Super Bowl XLVII begins this Sunday (Feb. 3) but he tells Taste of Country he'll be watching. As for who he's rooting for? It's complicated.

"It's a double-edged sword for me," McGraw says. "My uncle and my dad and all them were from Northern California, so my uncle is a (San Fransisco) 49ers fan. And I think they're good. They're a young, talented team. They're gonna be tough to beat.

"But I also I have a connection with the Ravens because of Michael Oher and 'The Blind Side.' So it's just gonna be fun to watch the game." Oher is the Baltimore Ravens tackle whose amazing story was made into the 2009 movie in which McGraw starred with Sandra Bullock.

Look for McGraw in New Orleans at the start of Super Bowl weekend. He appeared on 'Good Morning America' on Friday (Feb. 1) before leaving for California for appearances on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (Feb. 5); 'The Tonight Show' (Feb. 6); and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' (Feb. 7). Next Tuesday, the singer releases his new album 'Two Lanes of Freedom,' which includes the Top 10 single as well as 'Truck Yeah.'
