Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill Named One of the Top Celebrity-Owned Restaurants

Toby Keith is known for his rockin' concerts and No. 1 singles, but he knows how to run a fine establishment, too. Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Oklahoma City, Okla. has been recognized as one of the top celebrity-owned restaurants across the nation by Huffington Post's theDailyMeal.com.

While the bar and grill -- named for Keith's 2003 hit single -- first opened its doors in OKC, it has since expanded with locations in St. Louis, Tulsa, Denver, Mesa and more. Overall, the Daily Meal ranked Keith's drink-and-eat combo at No. 22 against 99 other celeb-owned restaurants. Eateries run by Michael Jordan, Ashton Kutcher, Justin Timberlake, Bill Murray and Robert De Niro made the list, which includes only entertainment famers -- not celeb chefs.

Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill stood out for the critics because of its awesome decor and American/Tex-Mex treats, though price was not taken into account. "There are high ceilings, large neon beer bottles, and oversized pictures of Keith with his patriotic guitar held above his head," the Daily Meal said of the OKC favorite. "Food-wise, it’s all about Tex-Mex and barbecue. Nachos, chips, and queso with salsa. Favorites on the menu include St. Louis ribs, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and sandwiches made with cheese, steak, chicken, and fish.”

While the country-style bar and grill may not have made No. 1 in the US, it was the only restaurant picked from Keith's home state of Oklahoma. Keith will continue to rock the airwaves this fall with a new album, 'Clancy's Tavern,' out October 25.
