Townsquare Media's country radio stations came together as part of the Country Cares for St. Jude fundraising drive in February, raising a total of $2 million to fight cancer.

"I am so proud of our people for going all in and raising a record amount for children and families," Townsquare Media, Inc., SVP of Programming Kurt Johnson says (quote via AllAccess.com). "This is something our stations dive into gladly every year, and their listeners' loyalty and compassion does the rest. Time and again, the power of local radio is a beautiful thing."

Townsquare is a multi-media group whose holdings include a string of country radio stations all over the United States, as well as digital media and concert festivals that include the Taste of Country Music Festival, WE Fest and Country Jam, among others. Townsquare is Taste of Country's parent company, and ToC also joined in the company's fourth annual pledge drive, featuring original stories and content about St. Jude's important mission to eradicate childhood cancer through treatment and research.
