Trace Adkins Announces Dates for Spring and Summer Tour

Trace Adkins isn't letting the cold stop him from getting back on the road. The veteran country star has just embarked on a new tour, with dates scheduled through the spring and summer of 2015.

Adkins kicked the tour off last weekend with shows in his home state of Louisiana. He will continue with a date in Bossier City, La. on Feb. 21, and then resume March 7 in Orlando, Fla., with dates spread out all the way through the early part of August that will take him all over the country, including stops in New York, Nevada and California. Adkins will also perform two dates in Ontario. Vocal duo Jill and Kate will join him on the road for the upcoming shows.

The singer's recent Christmas tour showcased Celtic arrangements from his album The King's Gift. The upcoming dates will focus on his catalog of past hits that includes "Every Light in the House," "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "You're Gonna Miss This," "Ladies Love Country Boys" and many more.

The set list will also include some new material Adkins has been working on for future release.

There's good news for fans who can't make it to any of the upcoming shows. Adkins recently released his first-ever live DVD. Titled Live Country!, the disc was filmed at Adkins' concert at the Paramount in Huntington, N.Y. in August of 2014 and features nearly two hours of his greatest hits, as well as bonus footage that includes the entertainer sharing stories of how he got his start, his tour preparations and future plans.
