Trace Adkins knows the importance of spending quality time with kids -- his or otherwise. Just like in his latest successful single, 'Just Fishin',' Adkins invited the Middle Tennessee Big Brothers Big Sisters group to the lake on his personal farm (the same one seen in the music video) on August 28 simply to soak in one another's company.

Ten Big Brothers/Sisters and their ten Little Brothers/Sisters spent the day enjoying water activities like swimming and paddle boats, as well as a zip-line and a little fishing, naturally. Unfortunately, Adkins was in Pennsylvania performing a concert the same day, but according to Focus on the 615, each guest caught a fish and as a special gift from the 'Ladies Love Country Boys' singer, went home with a brand new fishing pole.

Adkins did call home to say hello, as well as encourage the party to enjoy their day. Lowell Perry, Jr., CEO of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Middle Tennessee chapter, spoke on the group's behalf to express their gratitude. "The impact that can result from a quiet conversation between a Big Brother or Sister and their Little Brother or Sister while fishing is priceless," Lowell said. "His [Adkins'] generosity in making his lake available to our Bigs and Littles speaks volumes about his commitment to children."
