The roughneck country singer with a heart of gold makes woman melt with his trademark baritone, and though he tends to favor up-tempo songs and macho subject matter, when he delivers a ballad like 'The Rest of Mine,' he nails it.

Adkins co-wrote 'The Rest of Mine' with Kenny Beard, and in it he swears his love for as long as he lives. "No, I can't swear I'll be here for the rest of your life / But I swear I'll love you for the rest of mine," he sings. That promise rang true to country music fans everywhere, and it rang true in Adkins' personal life, too; he performed 'The Rest of Mine' at his own wedding.
