In a surprise upset, Trent Harmon has claimed victory over Keith Urban in the Showdown. The American Idol champ will face a challenge from Dustin Lynch today and Thursday.

Harmon's latest single, "There's a Girl," is a turn in a much safer direction, lyrically, than his too-hot-to-handle debut, "Falling." He gives an earnest, convincing performance on the love song, which could prove a big breakthrough for him.

Lynch's new single, "Seein' Red," is the first taste we've had of his upcoming third studio album, and it's also a turn in a new direction. The progressive country track sees Lynch flavoring his approach with more contemporary beats and vocal effects for a track that might have been too much for country radio just a few years ago, but is right in keeping with trends right now. Which one of these songs will move on to another Showdown round?

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
