First comes the question, and then comes planning the big day — and rising country star Tyler Farr is in the process of learning that now, as he embarks on the journey down the aisle to marry the future Mrs. Farr, Hannah Freeman.

The couple got engaged in the beginning of May at country’s “Mother Church,” the Ryman Auditorium.

“She slept on the bench of some van pulling a trailer on the way to some fair north east of Tennessee, so that’s all it took for me," Farr told the press at a celebration for the chart topping success of his single "A Guy Walks into a Bar." "She’s been there since the beginning, supporting me and all my crazy ways.”

After the excitement of the engagement settled, wedding plans have taken over conversation between the pair, Farr confesses. He dishes that he has been dragged all over to possible venues to discuss all of the who, what, where, when and hows of the big day, including the tasting of every "grape, bread and wine" the locations had to offer.

The good news is if the "Withdrawals" singer needs some help to plan the event, he doesn't have too look very far. His buddies Tyler Hubbard, Brian Kelley and Jason Aldean have all gotten married recently, and he admits that may have played a small role in proposing to his now fiancee.

"It was the engagement tour, it put a little bit of pressure on me," Farr shares. "But let me give you some words of advice, don’t let Jason Aldean pick out a wedding ring. I had to sell a tractor and my dog to buy that ring ... Damn.”

The 31-year-old also let us in on the couple's plans to tie the knot in a smell ceremony in Tennessee sometime next October. He also has fingers crossed that Jack Daniels will step up to sponsor the whole event.

Don't we all, buddy.
